Other comments: Large house on site dated 1980. Modern drive with trees facing road junction to Mickley. Property appears to be very well kept. Parts of old farm may no longer exist.

A large orchard site and shed are shown on 1851 OS map to south of the buildings of Newfield, and north of a pond and possible canal.
These are still shown on 1909 to present day OS maps, but are not visible from any public right of way, so conditionand composition are unknown.
