Site Description: Garden (site of), woodland with lakes
Parking: Parking at top of lane sign-posted to The Hutts or when open at The Hutts itself
Visibility: A little visibility looking E from the top end of Hutts Lane. Some visibility looking W from Nutwith Lane
Micro climate: Very sheltered on ESE slopes of sheltered valley on banks of Hutts Gill
North boundary: Hutts Wood and Hutts Lane
South boundary: Field boundaries
East boundary: Open ground which leads to Nutwith Lane
West boundary: Hutts Lane
Buildings: The Hutts
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: Several walk ways through woodland and round lake into private grounds of The Hutts. Footpaths and paths marked with tree bark.
Water features: Lake from which runs Hutt Gill
Other man-made features: Boat moorings, sculptures
Natural features: Steeply sided wooded valleys, mixed woodlands
Planting: Lavishly planted with azaleas and rhododendrons and other blossom, flowering shrubs/trees
General Condition: Excellent. Maintained to a superb, high standard and open to the public April/June
Local knowledge: Owners of The Hutts
