Site Description: Orchard
Site Access: Footpath to S.
Visibility: Good
Micro climate: Sheltered
Buildings: None
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: None
Planting: 4 old apple trees at back of property (Cockpit, Keswick, Loxton, & 1 other (French name) interplanted with group of silver birch. Some trees lost – Russett, Flowering Town? Also 2 fruit trees in front garden.
General Condition: Trees managed but apples suffering because of silver birch planting in orchard.
Possible contact: N/A
Local knowledge: Oldest property in village? Owner has known property since 1930s his grandfather lived there in 1901. Plums, gooseberries & other fruit grown since 1930s. In 1930s series of small holdings in village, now infilled.
