Site Description: Formal garden
Site Access: Only on private garden 'open days'
Visibility: Good
Micro climate: Sheltered
Buildings: 1 old garden building – possibly Victorian potting shed
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: Modern
Water features: Stream dammed to form pond; stone surround possibly new
Planting: Remnants of old orchard with apple, pear and plum tree; lime 'tunnel' (age unknown)
Several specimen trees inc field maple & weeping willow; old trees along perimeter incl whitebeam, beech, larch plus old tree stumps
General Condition: Well maintained 'modern' garden
Recommendations: NFA
Other comments: Open under NGS and other open garden schemes; plus also for private group visits
