Site Description: Victorian 'Theme Park'
Site Access: Footpath through site
Visibility: Poor, although footpath crosses middle of site E to W
Micro climate: Protected by surrounding hills
North boundary: Fields
South boundary: Woodland Gorge
East boundary: Fields & Moorland
West boundary: Woodland
Buildings: Remains of small stone buildings
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: Old track leads to site from W.
Water features: Natural Stream with bridge
Other man-made features: None visible
Natural features: Four deep tree lined gorges
Planting: Oak, Ash, Silver Birch, posssibly some ornamental trees in surrounding woodland
General Condition: Overgrown, difficult to see any signs of gardens. Bridge had fallen down by Jan 08
Possible contact: None
Other comments: Near Denton Hall Estate and 'Ladies Walk' so possibly picnic spot accessible via track from W
