Site Description: Old orchard
Site Access: On north side of Haregill Bank
Parking: On the road
Visibility: Main orchard can be clearly seen from grass verge on the west side of Haregill Cottage but also extends round the back of the house
Micro climate: Very sheltered in the lea of the hillside
North boundary: Not visible
South boundary: Hedge
East boundary: Fence and garden
West boundary: Hedge
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: Pebbled path leading from a gateway from the garden
Water features: None visible
Other man-made features: Well laid out garden to the east of Haregill Cottage with mature trees
Natural features: Lland slopes north to south
Planting: In the orchard at least 8 old trees crab apples / eating apples / cooking apples
General Condition: Could be said to need pruning but a traditional old orchard. Good habitat for wildlife with long grass and wild flowers
