Site Description: Garden: site of
Site Access: National Trust property – fully accessible
Visibility: Good - unimpeded
Micro climate: Open hill top site
North boundary: Terrace below the house ( Brimham House, former shooting box)
South boundary: 1m dry stone wall
East boundary: Dry stone wall (1m) with flight of stone steps in north east corner leading to upper terrace
West boundary: Dry stone wall
Buildings: None
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: Vehicular gateways in south and east walls
Natural features: Sloping hillside site
Planting: Rough grass cover
General Condition: Mowed grass
Local knowledge: (1780) the site was part of the Grantley Estate. Tearooms catered for visitors since 1836
Other comments: NFA
