Site Description: Orchard
Site Access: The orchard lies in the centre of the village of Low Laithe, along the East side of the farm adjacent to the footpath bordering the main road through the village
Visibility: Very good – can plainly be seen from roadside footpath
Micro climate: Orchard lies on a gentle slope with southern aspect
North boundary: Dry stone wall
South boundary: Path crossing the plot diagonally towards the house
East boundary: Low dry stone wall bordering footpath
West boundary: Farmhouse building
Buildings: None
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: The plot is bisected by a diagonal path leading to the farmhouse. The present orchard lies wholly in the north and eastern portion of the plot
Water features: None
Other man-made features: None
Natural features: None
Planting: 6 mature apple trees
General Condition: Good, the trees are healthy and crop well
