Site Description: Orchard
Site Access: Footpath to the south of the property, main road and pavement to the north
Visibility: Fair from pavement looking down on to the site, boundaries partly obscured by wooded and shrubby areas to the east and west.
Micro climate: Orchard lies on a south/south-west facing slope
North boundary: Dry stone wall
South boundary: Dwelling house
East boundary: Boundary not discernible
West boundary: Ditto
Buildings: N/A
Walkways / Gateways / Paths etc: N/A
Planting: Approximately 8 mature apple trees and a couple of pears in an area of rough grass interspersed here and there with one or two conifers
General Condition: Trees crop well although do not look to be actively tended
Other comments: The orchard (not depicted on any map consulted) is associated with a house built in the early part of the 20th century on a new site.
